The Biennial Coups de Vents International Competition and Festival will be held in France from the 9th to the 14th of July, 2010. The International Wind Music Festival will take place from 10th to 14th July 2010, on the Cote d’Opale (North Coast of France) and the first International Band competition will take place on 9th July 2010 and 10th July 2010 in towns of the Nord and the Pas-de-Calais regions.

The winning fanfares will be premiered at Metropolitan Wind Symphony concerts during its 40th season, between November 2010 and July 2011. Duration 1 - 3 minutes. Work may not have been previously performed, published, or professionally recorded. Entries may be written for any combination of instruments commonly found in a concert band. Cimarron Music Press will publish the winning fanfares. Entries must be received by Monday, April 26, 2010. For more information:
