The Royal Air Force Music Services Association wishes to contact retired and former musicians of the service established bands
The Royal Air Force Music Services Association wishes to contact retired and former musicians of the service established bands, to invite them to consider joining the association, and in so doing to welcome them to renew past friendships with former colleagues. Contact has been lost with many since their leaving the service and this notice is to make available the means whereby membership application of the association may be made. The RAF Music Services Association was founded in 1987, and it exists to perpetuate the spirit of the service through means of such contact by our magazine 'The Blue and The Gold', the annual reunion and our membership list.

Former members of the RAF Music Services with the RAF Central, RAF College, RAF Regiment, WRAF Central, and Regional Bands, and Salon Orchestra, and also including Station and Group Voluntary Bands, WW11 RAF Command Bands, RAF Symphony, Concert and Dance Orchestras, WAAF Bands and all other associated ensembles are eligible for membership, and are welcomed. All former personnel over the age of 80 years are accorded free life membership. It is requested that readers who may be aware of family members, friends and acquaintances etc with such former service to please bring this notice to their attention, to assist the contact that is sincerely intended, thank you.

Please make membership application enquiries to the RAF Music Services Association Treasurer and Membership Secretary.
